Tucked away along narrow country lanes is the gold medal winning Docton Mill Gardens and Tea Rooms. The Tearoom is set around an old watermill and does provide a pretty decent cream team. You need to pay to visit the gardens, unless you are a RHS member when admission is free - all garden visitors need to visit the Tearoom to get entrance into the gardens.. Docton Mill gardens and tea rooms are situated in a stunning valley location about 1500M from the coast and Spekes Mill Mouth waterfall. The garden, set in 9 acres of woodland in a steep sided valley, surrounds the existing mill pond and leat which receives its water from the river which meanders through the garden. The garden has interest.
