Pacific North West 2019 Rebecca Spit, Quadra Island

Conexpoguest2014 wrote a review Jun 2020. Campbell River, Canada 27 contributions 8 helpful votes. Best Campsite on Vancouver Island. We Wai Kai Campsite is nestled in the bay at Rebecca Spit. The large waterfront sites give you lots of room and an amazing view of the Spit. Beach is amazing for swimming and kayakers.. There is no provincial campground on Quadra Island, and camping is not permitted on Rebecca Spit, but the Cape Mudge Indian Band operates a great private campground at the southern end of Rebecca Spit Park. The 177-hectare park offers extensive day-use facilities, with picnic tables overlooking the sandy beach, wheelchair accessible pit toilets.

Oceanfront camping! The Heriot Bay Inn's beachfront RV and tent campground has great views and friendly neighbours. There's a walk-on beach, flush toilets, showers, laundry facilities, and a fun cedar-shaded playground for little ones. The campground has water, sewer, and 15 & 30 amp hook-ups..
